THE PROCESS

Master artist, Ann Manry Kenyon is a professional painter, author, joyous dancer, singer of songs, and lover of life. And, because it has been said that a master portraitist must have an appreciation of and the power to see the beauty in all, Ann will see and reveal in oil, pastel, or watercolor, your own individual beauty.

 

Should you elect to come to her home/studio to sit for your portrait or a photo session, you are invited to be her guest in a private suite within her home overlooking the beautiful St. John's River. There you can watch as the sun touches the water's edge at day's end. Several hotels are nearby should you prefer.

A modest sized Head & Shoulder portrait painted from life can likely be completed in an initial two-day visit. Otherwise, a photo session for a larger, more elaborate portrait may take the better part of the day. Once completed you and Ann will view the photos together and decide which images best capture your essence based on lighting, expression, color, clothing, and composition.

Once completed, a final sitting in her studio is preferable. A second option is to send an image of the portrait for your approval. Upon approval the portrait can be shipped to you unframed. However, Ann offers her framing expertise and can have her trusted framer assemble a stunning moulding to enhance your treasured heirloom.

Ann's fees begin at $16,000. Please contact the artist to discuss your particular project. Ann's travel expenses, shipping, framing, and sales tax (where applicable) are not included.
